Starting in 2009,  Bowker Creek has played its unique arrangements of  familiar and hidden gems from a wide range of musical genres that include folk, country, rock, old time and swing. Based in Victoria, Bowker Creek has played all over Vancouver Island from  Sooke to Sayward and most places in between at festivals, folk clubs, wineries and private functions.

Kathy Broder on vocals and guitar, has a powerful & dynamic voice that she uses to great effect whether singing intimate ballads, country, swing or the blues.

John Cornes on bass and vocals, has played bass, electric and acoustic , since his teens. He comes with a wealth of experience in all genres of music.

Bruce Kerr on dobro, guitar and vocals, played professionally on guitar and pedal steel with various rock and country bands in eastern Canada.

Dan Ready on mandolin & guitars has been performing in bands since he was 15. He has played mandolin, guitar & bass in folk, blues, rock, fusion & acoustic bands.
